Art I Love... Tina Berning

Tina Berning was one of the first artists I truly fell in love with back when I was studying my A-Levels. I came across her book called '100 Girls on Cheap Paper', which was a series of illustrations she created each day of women on odd bits of paper. Each portrait was created using mainly watercolours in simple bold lines portraying these beautiful women.

Everytime I look at one of Bernings' portraits I just find them absolutely memorising, as you can see below, and what a lovely way of displaying work, I wish I could emulate this feel even just a tiny bit in my work.
